A deck consists of one hero card and 30 monster, spell, and equipment cards. There are no restrictions on card types or world types when assembling a deck, but you can include up to three copies of the same card in a single deck. The most important thing is to build a deck with cards that match your desired battle style and strategy. For example, if you want to make heavy use of monster cards, it would be beneficial to include a variety of monster cards in your deck.
You can freely modify your deck composition in the 'Deck Edit' section of the 'Card' menu in the main menu.
There are four types of cards in the game. Every card belongs to one of these four types, and the effects they have in the game vary according to their type.
-
Hero: This is a character that directly enters the battlefield on behalf of the player. Heroes act according to your strategy and serve as a kind of leader in the fight against opponents. Defeating the opponent's hero is crucial, as it leads to victory in the game.
-
Monster: Using a monster card allows you to "summon" that monster to fight alongside you on the field. Each monster has unique HP and attack values, and some may have special abilities.
-
Spell: When used, a spell card "activates" its special abilities. These abilities can be utilized in battle, such as HP recovery, attacks, buffs, and debuffs, and can be strategically used depending on the situation. Be sure to check the special abilities when you acquire a spell card. Additionally, the special abilities of spell cards are one-time effects that activate immediately, so using them at the right time during play is also important.
-
Equipment: Using an equipment card allows you to "equip" the item. The special abilities of equipped items apply continuously as long as the equipment is not destroyed. You can enhance your strategy by equipping various items that boost attack or defense and disrupt the opponent's actions.
